Losing someone dear feels like losing a part of your own heart. The memories you shared, the moments that shaped your lives together, can make it incredibly hard to walk forward without them.
In this beautiful African tradition, families come together after the burial and the placing of the headstone to honour their loved ones with an unveiling ceremony — a moment of remembrance, unity, and love. This unveiling honoured the lives of Elizabeth Tholiwe Dlamini, Sphiwe Moses Dlamini, and Jabu Paulas Tlome.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but may the treasured moments you shared bring comfort, warmth, and peace to your heart. I was honoured to be invited to take photos for them and share in this special moment.
